Central Missouri Speedway 2024 Championship Race Season Begins Saturday

WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The first official green flag of the season is set to drop Saturday night at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) to officially begin the thirtieth year of operations for owners and promoters, Earl, and Susan Walls.

Since 1994 and through last season, the Walls have hosted 537 race nights for local drivers and fans in a variety of classes and special events. Weekly racing for the 2024 season includes POWRi-sanctioned B-Mods, Super Stocks, and Midwest Mods, plus unsanctioned Pure Stocks.

Drivers in all four divisions will compete in a full night of action on Saturday through preliminary heat races and main events. Pit gates officially open at 4:30, followed by grandstand admissions at 5. The driver’s pill draw cutoff to earn passing points is 6:15 (no passing points if the driver is late checking in). The pit meeting takes place at 6:30, followed by practice hot laps at 7:00, with racing to follow at approximately 7:30.

The revised rules are located on the track’s website at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. Once on the page, look for the Rules/Forms link at the top and click on the link to open the rules.

Drivers will find registration information at www.myracepass.com/sanctions/1011/registrations/6909. The link to the paper POWRi Membership Form is: www.powri.com/rules. All POWRi sanctioning and fees are separate from that of CMS. Please utilize the POWRi links as mentioned here to take care of your POWRi fees.
