Knoxville Raceway Season Opener Canceled; Friday Practice On

KNOXVILLE, Ia. — Due to cold temperatures, the Pella Motors / Kraig Ford Season Opener scheduled for Knoxville Raceway on Saturday, April 20 has been canceled.

Scheduled practice for Friday, April 19 will commence, with the pit gate opening at 3 p.m. and practice scheduled from 6-8 p.m.

Join us next weekend for the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash featuring the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws sprint cars April 26 and 27.  On Friday, April 26, the Pro Sprints will also be competing, and Saturday, April 27 the 360 sprint class will be on the card.

Knoxville Practice Night Sees 52 Cars!

KNOXVILLE, Iowa  – Fifty-two cars participated in Friday’s practice at the Knoxville Raceway.  The quickest lap of the night unofficially went to Kelby Watt at 14.986 seconds on the half-mile in the 410’s.  Cam Martin unofficially led the 360’s with a lap of 15.816 seconds.  The Pro Sprints were led unofficially by Chase Young with lap of 17.358 seconds.
