Saturday complete washout at Five Flags, Snowball Derby still on for Sunday

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Today’s schedule at the 56th annual Snowball Derby have been postponed because of inclement weather. The planned events, including Pro Late Models activities leading up to the Snowflake 100 and the Outlaws Derby, are rescheduled for Monday. Pits will open at 7 Monday morning and the gandstands will open at 10 a.m.

The 300-lap Snowball Derby, short-track racing’s crown jewel event, is still slated for its traditional 1 p.m. (aprox) start Sunday.

2-4pm Snowflake Haulers move to Fairgrounds

7am Pits open for team members only
7:30 Tire draw for locked in teams
8am Pits open
9am All haulers must be out of infield; Snowball Drivers Meeting.
9am Grandstand Gate Opens
9:30 Pre-Tech Opens
10am Worship Service in Fan Zone Tent
11:30 Last Chance Qualifier Cars to Stop & Go
12 noon; All cars must be thru tech.
12:30 Snowball Last Chance race;
Followed by:
Engine warm ups, SB cars to grid
Pre race festivities, Class Photo,
Driver introductions
2pm (approx) Snowball Derby 300 laps
8-10 pm Park Snowflake haulers
