WHEATLAND, Mo. — One of the great traditions of each racing program at Lucas Oil Speedway is the opening ceremony, which is capped by a rendition of the National Anthem. Those with singing talent can be involved during the 2024 season.

The speedway is seeking Anthem singers and those interested can submit a demo video recording to Lucas Oil Speedway Marketing and Media Director Laurie Looney by email at Llooney@lucasoilspeedway.com.

There also are other ways for fans and groups to get involved in the action for the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series season or special events coming to the speedway. Those include:

Car, Motorcycle Clubs: Another activity that’s been popular over the years is Car Clubs or Motorcycle Groups to show off their vehicles during a night at the races.

The speedway will publicize the appearance in pre-race press releases the week of the event. Clubs and their members need to arrive by 4 p.m. on race day as a group to set up on the Midway, behind the main grandstands.

Those interested can also contact Looney at Llooney@lucasoilspeedway.com or at (417) 295-6048.

Vendor spots: There is room on the Midway for non-food and non-drink vendors throughout the season where businesses can sell their products.

Booth spaces are available in 10 x 10 foot, 10 x 20 and 10 x 30 sizes, with or without electric. There are spots available for one-day shows, plus two-day and three-day events. Prices start at $150 for the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series events.

Applications are accepted on the speedway's website will be reviewed and Looney will make contact to let the applicant know if approved.

Media applications: The media link applies for working media members who would like to cover an event. They should fill out the necessary info and Looney will determine if the application is approved.
