Thanksgiving
T is for the Troops that serve this country with no questions asked about where they go or the reasons they are there.
H is for home where we feel so comfortable and cozy, where family and friends gather for meals and kinship with one another.
A is for anguish we feel for others who are away from us for the holiday, either near or far, just not in our presence.
N is for the nation we live in and the opportunity that is given to each of us as a citizen of this great land.
K is for the key to the door of our choice of religion, political feelings, and to pursue jobs of our picking.
S is for sports, we are a people who love to compete with one another either with a ball, puck, birdie, Frisbee, checkers, cards, or anything on wheels.
G is for a giving nature of our fellow man - when someone needs a helping hand our countrymen are the first to step up and help.
I is for ideals that we stand for as a people of morals, caring, and being forgiving.
V is for vision of past and present leaders to take our lives to a level where all are equal.
I is for the inner peace that comes from family, friends, and people that surround us every day of our lives.
G is for the geography of where we live in the heartland of this nation - people are kinder, friendly, and willing to take time for one another.
Each of us could add a letter and what it stands for please feel free to do so.
