CARB Meeting

If you are not attending the Chili Bowl or watching the Chili Bowl on pay per view and you want to get a taste of racing during the winter months then plan to attend the January C.A.R.B. Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held at the KCI Marriott Hotel on January 12, 2008 starting at 7:00 P.M.

The cancellation of the December meeting moves the election of officers and board of directors to this meeting. The January meeting is always a decision making meeting as the club must vote to approve the 2008 budget, vote to approve the 2008 Standing Rules, and conduct the Blood Bank drawing for those who donated in 2007. Once all this is done and the election results are announced we will finish with the swearing in of the 2008 Officers and Board of Directors.

Other agenda items include the 15th Annual Bowlathon on February 2, 2008, the 5th Hall of Fame Award Appreciation Dinner on March 8, 2008, the C.A.R.B. Race On/Snake Saturday Parade on March 15, 2008, proposed Constitution Amendments, and the 14th Annual Golf Tournament.
