Made in America Stay in America

Posted by John Green at 11:34:25 PM

This past weekend at the fifth Annual Hall of Fame Appreciation Dinner Bob Baker presented a great idea.  We will call his idea Made in America Stay in America.

As almost everyone knows there will be a rebate arriving in the mail sometime in May.  Qualifying single filers (AGI less than $75,000) will get rebates of up to $600. Qualifying couples (AGI less than $150,000) will get rebates of up to $1,200, plus $300 per dependent child, with no maximum on the number of eligible children. Persons who owe no income taxes, but earned at least $3,000 in income from Social Security and veterans disability will get rebate checks of $300 for individuals and $600 for couples. What if You Made More than the Maximum Income?  You will still get a check, but it will be reduced by 5-percent of the amount you earned above the AGI income caps of $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for couples.

Now before you run out and buy that new product made in China (Walmart, KMart, or Bed Bath and Beyond) , or purchase that service that comes with instructions from India (any computer related software or gadget), or you buy gasoline from any of the stations that funnel their money to Venezuela, Saudia Arabia, or any foreign country, or you buy a car made in Canada, Mexico, overseas, or a company that makes their product in America but the money funnels back to an alien homeland think about Bob Baker's GREAT IDEA.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RACE TRACK!  Yes, Support your local racetrack!  Take your rebate money and go to your favorite track.  If you normally go alone, grab a friend buy his way in and maybe he will repay you with a rebate favorite drink.  The money stays in America, supports Americans, and supports our sport.

Think about it, where were you attending races 20 to 25 years ago?  Is that track still open?  Is the track in good repair?  Where will your children attend the races 20 to 25 years from now?  This is our opportunity, our chance to make a stand, our chance to change history, our chance to invest in our future, simply take your money and attend the local race track.

Racers are leaders!  Racers battle to win!  This is our opportunity to battle the world empires with our rebate checks.  Let's take back our country.  Lets Make Made In America stand for something.  What other country even comes close to enjoying our great sport.

Kansas City race fans are known for their passion.  Kansas City drivers are some of the best in the world.  Make your plans now to attend a local race track as often as you can.  Let's take back our country by starting with Made in America Stay in America!  Share this theme with your family and friends and let's save our sport and take back our country, once again Made In America Stay in America support your local track!
