East goes wire-to-wire at Perris(Perris, CA) Bobby East of Brownsburg, Ind. led all 30 laps of Sunday night’s “Sokola Shootout” USAC Mopar National/Western Midget race at the Perris Auto Speedway after starting from the front row in his Club Sport Ford Racing Beast/Esslinger Ford.
'Sokola Shootout' postponed until Sunday(Perris, CA) Due to the incoming heavy storm that is slated to hit Southern California late Friday and into Saturday, Perris Auto Speedway, promoter Don Kazarian announced that the Sokola Shootout, featuring the Amsoil USAC National & CRA Sprint Cars and the USAC National & Western Midgets, has been postponed until Sunday, February 28th.
Gardner outruns Darland at Las Vegas(Las Vegas, NV) Damion Gardner grabbed the lead from Dave Darland with three laps remaining to win Thursday night's Amsoil USAC National/CRA Sprint Car feature at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. Chris Windom was third as Tracy Hines and Jerry Coons Jr. rounded out the top-five.
Sweet powers to USAC Midget prize at Las Vegas(Las Vegas, NV) Brad Sweet captured top honors in Mopar USAC National & Western Midget action Thursday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. Sweet passed Chad Boat with two laps left as Brad Loyet came home third. Darren Hagen and Tracy Hines were fourth and fifth respectively

Auto Speedway, He hopes he doesn’t have to work so hard to repeat in this year’s event, scheduled this Saturday night at the half-mile dirt California oval.

Jones wins 'Copper on Dirt' Sprints after Windom runs out of fuel(Tucson, AZ) Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. led the final two laps of Sunday’s Rosemont Copper “Copper on Dirt” 40-lap USAC Amsoil National/CRA Sprint race at USA Raceway. Jones doubles 'Copper on Dirt' with Silver Crown win(Tucson, AZ) Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. caught Bud Kaeding on the final lap of Sunday’s Rosemont Copper “Copper on Dirt” 50-lap USAC Silver Crown race at USA Raceway and beat him to the checkered flag. The win in the Tony Stewart Racing Bass Pro Shops/Chevy Maxim Kistler/Chevy was Jones’ first in the series and gave Stewart a record-tying 23rd career Silver Crown win as an owner.
