Eckrich prevails at Lucas Oil Speedway(Wheatland, MO) Oxford, Iowa's Dave Eckrich scored his first ever Lucas Oil MLRA win on Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway as he fought off a hard charging Brandon McCormick for the win by less than a car length at the finish. Tucson, Arizona modified ace R.C. Whitwell made an impressive showing with the Late Models to take third at the finish.
Purkey leads Lucas Oil MLRA into Wheatland(Buckner, MO) The Lucas Oil MLRA returns to action this Saturday night August 28th as the Region's top Dirt Late Model Drivers make their fourth and final appearance of 2010 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for the Lucas Oil Speedway Summer Shootout. The MLRA main event will pay $3,000 to win with A-Modifieds and Factory Stocks also on the card for the evening at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks".

Lucas Oil MLRA part of Missouri State Fair Championships this Sunday(Sedalia, MO) The Lucas Oil MLRA is back in action this weekend as the Annual Missouri State Fair Championships take place this Sunday evening, August 22nd at Sedalia's State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri. The Winged Outlaw Warriors 360 Sprint Cars will also be racing as a large contingent of the region's best Dirt Late Model and Sprint Car drivers are expected to be in attendance shooting for the coveted Missouri State Fair Championship at the historic 1/2 mile.
Boen sweeps Lucas Oil MLRA weekend at Junction(McCool Junction, NE) On the 27th anniversary of Kelly Boen's first feature win, he became a back to back winner of the King of the Hill Late Model Showdown Saturday night at McCool Junction, Nebraska. Since 2004 there have been 20 Super Late Model races contested at Junction Motor Speedway, and Boen has won 11 of those. Starting on the inside of row two, Boen quickly found the front on a slick and smooth surface.
Boen triumphs at Junction(McCool Junction, NE) Henderson, Colorado's Kelly Boen wired the field in a twenty five lap main event earning him $2,000 at Friday night's King of the Hill Showdown at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska. Boen qualified on the pole by advancing six positions in his heat race from eighth to second. This is Boen's second win of the year with the Lucas Oil MLRA, as he also won the Alphabet Soup Race at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on May 30th.
Lucas Oil MLRA this weekend at Junction Motor Speedway(Buckner, MO) The Lucas Oil MLRA returns to action this weekend (August 13th-14th) as the Lucas Oil MLRA battles the O'Reilly NCRA in the King of the Hill Late Model Shootout at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska. Friday night's action will be highlighted by a $2,000 to win show with Saturday's show paying $3,000 to win.
Owens tops CMH Diamond Nationals(Wheatland, MO) Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN held off a late-race charge from Chris Wall of Springfield, LA to win the Fourth Annual CMH “Diamond Nationals” on Saturday Night at Lucas Oil Speedway. July 31 MLRA date at Nevada Speedway cancelled(Buckner, MO) Officials with the Lucas Oil MLRA and the Nevada Speedway have mutually agreed to remove the Lucas Oil MLRA event scheduled for July 31st at Nevada Speedway from the 2010 schedule. "With this being the Hendren's first year promoting the racetrack, both parties felt it wise to give them the opportunity to build on their program and go for it again in 2011".

Lucas Oil MLRA at I-80 and Adams County this weekend(Buckner, MO) On the heels of a stout three day swing through Missouri with wins captured by John Anderson and Terry Phillips, the Stars and Cars of the Lucas Oil MLRA head north this weekend for a Double Header beginning with a visit to the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on Friday night, July 2nd followed by the first visit of 2010 to the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa on Saturday night, July 3rd.
