Jack Vaughn Memorial this Saturday at Adrian(Adrian , MO) The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil is set to tackle Glenn and Colleen Portzen's tricky Adrian Speedway this Saturday night, May 17th for the $3,000 to win Jack Vaughn Memorial race.
Babb wears Diamond(Wheatland, MO) Shannon Babb led the entire 100 laps to win the SuperClean Diamond Nationals Sunday night at Lucas Oil Speedway. The event had been postponed by rain from Saturday. After 68 of the 80 drivers returned from Friday night's qualifying, track conditions were dry and slick for the heat races, however officials decided to re-work the surface for the 100-lap A-Main. It made for much better racing, however Babb was never seriously threatened.
Payne rules Lakeside Speedway(Kansas City, KS) The rains came down around Lakeside all day long. All daylong the rains never hit at Lakeside Speedway. Many fans and competitors were scared off by the rain Wednesday afternoon. With several racers in the area for the Lucas Oil SuperClean Diamond Nationals, it could have been a large car count. Bowyer returns to Lakeside May 7(Buckner, MO) As unseasonably cool and rainy weather created havoc for racing schedules in the month of April, the O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil looks to get back on track in May. The first stop of the month will take place on Wednesday night, May 7th at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas for a $3,000 to win show.
Jack Vaughn Memorial at Adrian moved to May 17(Buckner, MO) The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil has announced that the Jack Vaughn Memorial Race originally scheduled for May 3rd at the Adrian Speedway has been rescheduled for May 17th. "Out of consideration for the Vaughn family, who were unable to attend the race as originally scheduled, we felt it best to move this race to another date" stated MLRA Promoter Harriet Chancellor.
Bad weather foils Lakeside-Thunderhill MLRA weekend(Buckner, MO) The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil has been forced to cancel the events scheduled for this weekend, April 11th-12th at the Lakeside and Thunderhill Speedways due to persistent rains and forecasted cold temperatures. "This crazy weather just leaves us with no choice but to cancel for the weekend." stated MLRA Promoter Harriet Chancellor.
'Spring Fling' at Lakeside canceled due to bad weather(Kansas City, KS) The MLRA Late Model and Modified 'Spring Fling' scheduled for Friday April 11th, has been canceled because of the weather. The race will not be made up. The 2008 season will open with the Coors Light season points opener on Friday, April 18th.
Payne takes O'Reilly MLRA opener at Lucas Oil Speedway(Wheatland , MO) Jeremy Payne won the opening night O'Reilly MLRA Feature on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway. O'Reilly MLRA opens this weekend(Buckner, MO)
The 2008 season for the O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil gets underway this weekend April 4th-5th, and that's no joke! The Lebanon Midway Speedway is the first stop on the Thunder Tour for 2008 on Friday night April 4th while the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri rounds out the weekend's pair of $3,000 to win shows on Saturday, April 5th.
