Cross takes NCRA Southern Mods at Amarillo(Amarillo, TX) Veteran modified driver Kelly Cross scored one for the locals as he took the lead with four laps to go and then cruised to victory as the O’Reilly/NCRA southern modified division made their first ever appearance at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday night.
Elliott ends drought in NCRA Southern Mods(Ellk City, OK) Robert Elliott ended a drought Friday night at I-40 Speedway. Winless so far this year in O'Rielly NCRA Southern Modified Series competition, Elliott won the opening heat race then capped a perfect night with a victory in the 20-lap main event. Elliott was chased to the finish by points leader Dustin Buntin, Randy Sallee, Dough Gillespie and Rick, Pittman.

Jennings and Hurd score Hutch Nationals wins(Hutchinson, KS) Danny Jennings and Marc Hurd scored NCRA feature wins as the Hutch Nationals were completed Saturday night at the Kansas State fairgrounds. Jennings outdistanced Garry Lee Maier in the Sprint car main, while Hurd beat Brian Powers to the line in the Modifed North Series.
Slader snares NCAR Southern Mod prize at Thunderbird(Muskogee , OK) Fifteen year old Kyle Slader of Muskogee, Oklahoma gave his hometown crowd something to cheer for as he took the lead on lap seven and was never threatened as he took home the victory Saturday night as the O’Reilly/NCRA southern modified division made their first and only scheduled appearance of the season at Thunderbird Speedway.
Boen completes NCRA weekend sweep at 81 Speedway(Park City, KS) By virtue of compiling the highest amount of passing and finishing points in heat race action, four-time and current points leader Kelly Boen of Henderson, Colorado completed a sweep of the weekend as he led wire to wire in capturing his ninth feature victory of the season Sunday night at 81 Speedway.
