NCRA plans January 30 banquet(Park City, KS) The season is complete for the O’Reilly Auto Parts National Championship Racing Association and the time has come to crown their five division champions and present awards to all drivers who finished in the top fifteen in the final 2009 point standings and competed in at least 75 % of the races in their divisions.
Maier's return to NCRA results in '09 championship(Midwest City, OK) Garry Lee Maier of Cimarron, Kansas came back to the series where he is the career feature winner for the O’Reilly/NCRA 360 sprint car division and picked up his fifth division championship. However, unlike years past, this one had a little bit more special meaning for those involved in the program.
Berck celebrates second NCRA Late Model title(Midwest City, OK) Kyle Berck of Marquette, Nebraska picked up his second career O’Reilly/NCRA late model division championship this year in what was yet another banner season for the series premiere division. Daniels claims NCRA Modified title(Midwest City, OK) Veteran Dan Daniels of Humboldt, Kansas finally accomplished a feat he has attempted for several years, obtaining the O’Reilly/NCRA modified championship. In capturing his first ever series title, he became just the sixth modified driver to obtain an O’Reilly/NCRA modified championship in the divisions twelve year history.

NCRA Sprints finish '09 at 81 Speedway(Midwest City, OK) After inclement weather postponed the regularly schedule event two weeks ago, the O’Reilly/NCRA sprint car division will try once again to decide their 2009 season champion as current series points leader Garry Lee Maier of Cimarron, Kansas leads Zach Chappell of Talala, Oklahoma by a scant twenty points as the series closes out its 20th season this coming Saturday night (October 24) at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas. Franz takes NCRA Mod finale as Daniels clinches season title(Park City, KS) Former five-time series champion Brian Franz completed his sweep of Hard Rock Hotel – Casino feature events held this year at 81 Speedway as he won his fourth O’Reilly/NCRA modified event in as many races, this one in dramatic fashion, as he passed race long leader Brian Powers on the final lap. Berck and Allen victorious at Belleville(Belleville, KS) Kyle Berck broke Kelly Boen's stranglehold on Belleville High Banks as the NCRA Late Model Series paid a Labor Day weekend Sunday visit to the legendary fast half-mile. England has long road to recovery(Wichita, KS) Wichita sprint/midget driver Rick England, who was injured July 25th at the Hutchinson Nationals at the Kansas, is still undergoing rehabilitation and the medical bills are mounting.
Boen tames 81 Speedway(Park City, KS) Kelly Boen rewrote the record book at Sunday's O'Reilly NCRA Late Model Series event at 81 Speedway. The four-time series defending champion has been red hot of late winning eight of the last nine main events. Sunday Boen extended the streak to nine out of ten winning for the tenth time this season.
Boen laps the field at Dodge City(Dodge City, KS) Kelly Boen of Henderson, Colorado continued his domination in the areas late model ranks as he picked up his ninth feature victory of the season as the O'Reilly/NCRA late models made their first and only appearance of the season at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas on Saturday night. Boen soars to Junction Motor Speedway opening round(McCool Junction, NE) Kelly Boen is on a bit of a hot streak. The four time and defending series champion came into the nights "King of the Hill Late Model Nationals" first of two night opener having won the won five of six Hard Rock Hotel-Casino features.
