WDRL season finale slated for this Saturday(Tipton, IA) The WORLD Dirt Racing League Late Models will be making their final trip this Saturday, Oct. 10, for an exciting 50-lap feature race, the prestigious Iowa Governor's Cup, a must-see event for racing fans. It takes place at the Cedar County Raceway, located at the Cedar County Fairgrounds on the northwest corner of this eastern Iowa community.

Miller scores WDRL prize at Brainerd(Brainerd, MN) It was a beautiful July night here Tuesday as North Central Speedway played host to Round 10 of the 2009 WORLD Dirt Racing League season. Twenty-nine Late Models made the trip to the racy, one-third mile track located amidst the towering pines of northern Minnesota.
Simpson scores at Mineral City(Fort Dodge, IA) Round no. 9 of the WORLD Dirt Racing League's 2009 schedule brought the Late Model dirt track touring series' stars and cars here Monday for the first time to Mineral City Speedway, a half-mile race track nestled deep inside a rock quarry just outside town. Just about every Late Model driver in the field took his first laps on the speedway as most had never set eyes on it before.
Purkey claims WDRL prize at Boone County(Albion, NE) Round No. 8 on the 2009 schedule brought the stars and cars of the WORLD Dirt Racing League here Sunday to Boone County Raceway for their annual race. The first of a two-day WDRL swing kicked off the Boone County Fair. Warm temperatures and sunny skies made for hot action on and off the race track.

Mars makes it two straight in WDRL(New Richmond, WI) Round 6 and 7 of the 2009 WORLD Dirt Racing League schedule take the WDRL Late Models here to the beautiful Cedar Lake Speedway for the 11th annual Cedar Lake Masters. And Menomonie, Wis., driver Jimmy Mars was hot on Friday, the first of two nights of competition, both of which are WDRL points races.
Mars rebounds in Superior(Superior, WI) WORLD Dirt Racing League Late Models were up Thursday night for Round 5 of the 2009 season. Night 2 of the Northern Swing took place here at the beautiful Superior Speedway, and it was a good night for driver Jimmy Mars.
