World of Outlaws champ Meyers announces retirement(Clovis, CA) Two-time defending World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers announced his retirement from driving professionally on Friday. In a letter issued to the public, Meyers says, although the decision was difficult, determined he needed to spend more time at home and with his family. Meyers will compete in 14 final races beginning February 15 at Volusia and winding up in late March at Calistoga.
