Armed Services Night kicks off 2011 campaign at Springfield Raceway(Springfield, MO) The 2011 race season opener at the Springfield Raceway will be honoring past and present members of our Nations Military. Raceway owners Doug Bland and Jerry Hoffman thought kicking the season off with a special “Thank You” to those that have served was the perfect fit for the 2011 season.
Crawley wins LOS Nationals prelim(Eldon, MO) Tim Crawley, of Benton AR, made his mark to be a top contender in the 7th Annual Lake Ozark Speedway 360 Nationals by leading all 25 laps around Kevin and Tammy Gundaker's 3/8 oval. Crawley was on cruise throughout most of the race with no serious threats.
Alumbaugh and Boen headline at Missouri State Fair(Sedalia, MO) The 2010 season has come to a close at the Missouri State Fair Speedway. At the end of the night, two more elated drivers added their name to the sacred list of winners at the ‘Historic Half Mile’ by besting the field in their respective divisions and earning the crown of Missouri State Fair Champion! Maeschen scores at U.S. 36 Raceway(Osborn, MO) Bronson Maeschen outran Eric Lutz to win the ASCS Midwest Region.Winged Outlaw Warrior main event Friday night at U.S. 36 Raceway. Martin tops WOW Sprints at 24 Raceway (Moberly, MO) The Firecracker Forty came off with a half dozen cautions in a great race, but the W.O.W. Sprint race had only a single one in some 3-wide and 4-wide racing in the Bob Whitehead Memorial this last Saturday night at 24 Raceway this last weekend.
Cornell shows the way at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) Jonathan Cornell started outside row two in the Winged Outlaw Warrior feature event Friday night at L A Raceway and picked up another feature win for the season. This is the third win in the WOW circuit that he has picked up at his hometown track of L A Raceway. Cornell started running 305 Sprints at L A Raceway before moving into a 360. Jones earns first career WOW win at Double-X Speedway(California, MO) On a night where family and friends celebrated the life of Jesse Hockett, it was only fitting that one of his former cars would be in victory lane. Driving a JEI that his father Dennis purchased from Hockett over the winter, Adam Jones won his first Winged Outlaw Warrior A Main Sunday night at Double X Speedway.
Alambaugh wins Gary Scott Memorial at 24 Raceway(Moberly, MO) Taking advantage of Jonathan Cornell’s misfortune, Austin Alumbaugh scored his second career Winged Outlaw Warrior win at 24 Raceway Saturday night winning the Gary Scott Memorial.
Shirsheken scores at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) Taking control on on lap five, Mark Shirshekan captured his first career Winged Outlaw Warrior win at LA Raceway Friday night. When the green flag waved, Eric Todd led from his pole starting position as he was followed by Shirshekan and Tyler Blank. Winged Outlaw Warriors at L A Raceway this Friday(LaMonte, MO) After a pair of rainouts last weekend, the Winged Outlaw Warriors will be back in action this weekend with races at LA Raceway in LaMonte, MO on Friday May 7th and Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO on Saturday May 8th. Each race will pay $1500 to the winner and $1000 for second.
