All Star Sprints enters into multiyear deal with Goodyear(Camargo, IL) When the All Star Circuit of Champions embark on their 2010 race season, it will be on the wings of Goodyear. Today the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions announced it has entered into a multiyear agreement with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company to be the Official Tire supplier.
McCarl takes All Star season finale; Rutz seriously injured(Terre Haute, IN) The fourth time was the charm for the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions. After rain postponing the O’Reilly All Star race at the Terre Haute Action Track three times, the drivers and teams finally saw the Green Flag fly tonight over the historic venue. On an evening that had many twists and turns, Terry McCarl emerged as the victor at the end of the night.
All Star season finale postponed until Sunday(Terre Haute, IN) As predicted rain hit the Terre Haute Action Track just at the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions and Midwest All Star Series race was getting ready to begin. The race will be run Sunday, July 27th with hot laps starting at 4:00pm.
Shaffer shores up All Star crown at Fremont(Fremont, OH) It takes hard work and a little luck to win an O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions title. And when most drivers are making a title bid, they can only hope that they will win not only the title but the big money races. Saturday night Tim Shaffer not only collected his eighth victory of the season, but he also won his second $10,000 to win race this year as both hard work and luck came into play during the 50-lap event at Fremont Speedway.
Blaney sweeps Lawrenceburg All Star Sprints weekend(Lawrenceburg, IN) At the beginning of the night Dale Blaney would have to make a quick engine change after qualifying, just to compete in Saturday night’s O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions race at Lawrenceburg Speedway. After that small set back, Blaney would recover to place second in the heat race, third in the dash and finally the top spot in the second night of the Hoosier Fall Classic, taking home the $10,000 prize.
Blaney snares Friday All Star round at Lawrenceburg(Lawrenceburg, IN) On a night with a cool crisp chill in the air, there was nothing cool about the action at Lawrenceburg Speedway as the Hoosier Fall Classic kicked off Friday night. In an event that saw numerous breaks in racing action and fiercely contested battles on the track, Dale Blaney was able to quickly move his way from his third place starting position to take over the lead on Lap 9. From there Blaney would take off dominating the rest of the first night of the Hoosier Fall Classic and record his third O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions victory this season.
Hannagan conquers All Star Sprints at Lernerville(Sarver, PA) On a night that saw the lead swapped between five drivers eleven times in just 30 laps, Randy “The Hurricane” Hannagan made a last lap dash around Tim Shaffer to take his second O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions victory of the season. It was definitely an unforgettable night as the lead was swapped early and often during tonight’s main event bringing the crowd to their feet.
Non-wing 'Ultimate Challenge" Tuesday night at Osky(Oskaloosa, IA) Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. enjoyed one of his biggest racing paydays last year when he won the Casey’s General Stores “Ultimate Challenge.” He returns on Tuesday night, August 11, for another shot at glory and the championship belt which goes with the winner’s laurels. 'Thunder through the Plains' finale to McCarl(Brandon, SD) On the last night of the marathon event of Thunder through the Plains there was not only a storm of action going on at Husets Speedway, but there was also a storm approaching the track creating almost as much thunder and lightning in the sky as the drivers of the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions did on the track. Husets All Star Sprint opener to Winters(Brandon, SD) Sometimes it feels like the world is against you and on other nights it seems like the stars align and even with your mistakes you come out on top. It was one of those nights for Scott Winters who collected his first O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions victory on the fourth night of Thunder through the Plains racing action at Husets Speedway in Brandon, SD.
Madsen streaks to Belleville checkers(Belleville, KS) On a night that would see records fall on the famed high banks of Belleville, Kerry Madsen did not walk away from the night with his name on a speed record, but he would walk away with the big prize, an O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions win on the second night of Thunder through the Plains. All Stars pull plug on Thunderhill, will race two nights at Belleville(Belleville, KS) The O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions announced today that there has been a scheduling adjustment to their Thunder through the Plains schedule which features five races in five days. Due to business obligations Thunder Hill Speedway has been removed from the schedule setting up a two night double header at the Belleville High Banks, on tonight July 30th and tomorrow night July 31st.
