Shaffer takes advantage of Gravel's woes at Belleville(Belleville, KS) When you’re on a roll, things just seem to fall your way. So it was Thursday for current O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions point leader Tim Shaffer. When leader David Gravel experienced mechanical woes late in the race at Belleville High Banks, Shaffer was there to take advantage to record his fourth consecutive feature win during the Thunder Through the Plains. Shaffer takes third straight on 'Thunder through the Plains'(Rising City, NE) Tim Shaffer and his Aaron Call, Janet Holbrook owned team has the competition scratching their heads. The man known as “The Steel City Outlaw” punished the field Wednesday, Aug. 4, during the O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions’ first visit to the Butler County Motorplex, the fifth of nine stops on the traditional Thunder Through the Plains tour.
Shaffer takes Huset's three night finale(Brandon, SD) Tim Shaffer captured the three night Thunder through the Plains finale at Huset's Speedway on Sunday. Tyler Walker finished second ahead of Tim Kaeding as Sammy Swindell and Kerry Madsen rounded out the top-five. The tour resumes Wednesday at Butler County Motorplex in Rising City, Nebraska.
