Ice Bowl at Talladega Short track this weekend(Talladega, AL) Talladega Short Track hosts the first IMCA Modified special event of the 2010 race season, with the Jan. 7-10 running of the 19th annual Ice Bowl.
2010 Deery Brothers Summer Series schedule announced(Vinton, IA) A first ever visit to Dubuque Speedway is on the schedule for the 24th annual Deery Brothers Summer Series. The 2010 IMCA Late Model tour sports 16 dates, with 34 Raceway’s $3,000 to win Slocum 50 opening the action on April 10. The West Burlington track again hosts the traditional series finale, the $10,000 to win Pepsi USA Nationals on Sept. 17-18.

Zoubek and Zeinter win Tiny Lund Memorial(Harlan, IA) Bob Zoubek and Corey Zeitner headlined the annual Tiny Lund Memorial over the weekend at Shelby County Speedway. Zoubek topped the Modified class, while Zeitner earned top honors in the Late Model division.

Havlik emerges at IMCA Super Nationals(Boone, IA) Randy Havlik finally won the championship that eluded him 20 years ago at Boone Speedway. Havlik passed Jay Noteboom, who slowed with mechanical problems on the final lap, to win the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals Modified main event on Saturday night. Super Nationals Saturday(Boone, IA) Jay Noteboom, Brad Williams, and Kelly Lyons each won Modified preliminary features Friday night at the IMCA Super Nationals. Kevin Stoa took top honors in the All Star race, while Doug Smith triumphed in SportMods.
Stephens, Murray, Deal earn Thursday wins(Boone, IA) Jeff Stephens, David Murray, and Nick Deal scored Modified qualifying wins as the IMCA Super Nationals continued Thursday night at Boone Speedway. Pat Graham, Al Hejna, and Jeff Taylor settled for runner-up spots.
Durbin, Baker, Snyder top Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals prelims(Boone, IA) The qualifying format is different, but three drivers enjoyed the same story of success on the first night of Modified qualifying at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals. IMCA Sprint Car Super Nationals crown to Eriksen (Boone, IA) It’s not unusual for a race car driver to get a hug from his sister in victory lane. It’s a rare occurrence, however, when that hug comes from the sister he passed for the lead. Shannon Eriksen caught up with his sister Jennifer after she spun while running at the front of Tuesday’s Jackpot Junction Tour feature field at Boone Speedway.
