Record $60,000-plus in contingencies awarded to IMCA drivers in 2011
(Vinton, IA) More than $60,000 in contingency awards will go to IMCA drivers, based on their participation in sign-up programs or having met other requirements unique to individual programs in 2011.

IMCA sanctions four divisions at Salina Speedway
(Salina, KS) Two IMCA divisions return after a six-year absence while two more are new to weekly race programs at Salina Speedway next season. Both the IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock classes will be back in action Fridays at the 3/8-mile clay oval. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods debut at Salina in 2012.


IMCA Mods race for $5,000 top prize at RPM Fall Nationals
(Hays, KS) The IMCA Modified feature winner earns a well-deserved $5,000 at RPM Speedway’s Fall Nationals special Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 13-15. The fifth annual event also boasts a $3,000 check for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $2,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $1,000 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $300.


Zoubek prevails on first night of October Fest at Beatrice

Guss celebrates IMCA Deery Brothers title after season finale rainout

Ray Guss Jr. of Milan, Ill., repeats as champion of the IMCA Late Model tour, edging Andy Eckrich of Iowa City, Iowa, by six points. Top prize for the silver anniversary series title is $5,000. Noteboom headlines night one at 'Thunder on the Hill'
(Mayetta, KS) On Night One of Thunder on the Hill, traveling drivers Jay Noteboom (BSB Manufacturing IMCA Modifieds) and Tyler Frye (Kansas National Guard IMCA Northern SportMods) took their respective features, while Kyle Vanover (Heinen Repair Service IMCA Stock Cars) and Brian Stich (BuyRaceParts.com IMCA Hobby Stocks) upheld home-track-driver honors in their features. 102 cars filled the pit area.
