IMCA Mods race for $5,000 top prize at RPM Fall Nationals(Hays, KS) The IMCA Modified feature winner earns a well-deserved $5,000 at RPM Speedway’s Fall Nationals special Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 13-15. The fifth annual event also boasts a $3,000 check for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $2,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $1,000 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $300.

Both Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 main events pay $1,500 to win and are qualifying races for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
Guss celebrates IMCA Deery Brothers title after season finale rainout (East Moline, IL) Sunday’s Deery Brothers Summer Series finale at Quad City Speedway was rained out and will not be rescheduled. Ray Guss Jr. of Milan, Ill., repeats as champion of the IMCA Late Model tour, edging Andy Eckrich of Iowa City, Iowa, by six points. Top prize for the silver anniversary series title is $5,000.
