Weekly point battles resume tonight at Lakeside(Kansas City, KS) It has been two weeks since the weekly racers of Lakeside Speedway have seen any competition at the 1.5 mile track in Wyandotte. Friday night holds a lot of excitement for the 2010 season. The Factory Stock division will be racing for an extra purse and all competitors will be trying to gain more points.
Darland wins Ron Shuman Classic(Kansas City, KS) Lincoln, Indiana’s Dave Darland became the fourth different winner in as many nights of Sixth Annual Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits Tour ‘N Topless Midwest Swing action by taking the $10,000 winner’s share in Saturday night’s Ron Shuman Classic atop the ½-mile Lakeside Speedway clay oval. Ron Shuman Classic tonight at Lakeside Speedway(Kansas City, KS) A steady series of severe thunderstorms has forced the cancellation of Friday night’s Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits Tour ‘N Topless event at Lakeside Speedway. The series will now finish off the Sixth Annual TNT Midwest Swing as well as the 2010 season with Saturday night’s $10,000-to-win Ron Shuman Classic atop the ½-mile Lakeside Speedway clay oval, with racing action set to go green at 7:30 p.m.
