CMS gearing up for 2010 campaign(Warrensburg, MO) Even in the off-season race drivers take a break from their busy preparation schedules just long enough to register for competition. The driver contingent from Warrensburg’s own Central Missouri Speedway is certainly no exception to this rule as evidenced by the tremendous pre-registration response for the fast-approaching race season.
CMS hosts registration and rules meeting this Saturday(Warrensburg, MO) While drivers are hard at work on their race machines, CMS personnel have been just as busy preparing for the first green-flag laps of the 2010 race season. This Saturday, January 23rd, both drivers and track personnel will break from their respective preparations for the annual ‘Registration and Rules Review Meeting’ at the ABC Building, on the grounds of Grover Park in Warrensburg, Missouri, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Promoters Earl and Susan Walls and the entire staff at the speedway are set to roll out the most aggressive schedule ever assembled for the high banked clay oval with twenty nights of weekly races and a variety of special events planned.
Looking ahead to 2010 at CMS(Warrensburg, MO) With the 2009 race season in the proverbial review mirror, CMS promoters, Earl and Susan Walls, remain focused on readying their track for 2010. Next season marks the seventeenth year the couple will promote races at the track they own and promote just north of Warrensburg, Missouri on Highway 13.
Stellar '09 CMS season spurs look ahead to 2010(Warrensburg, MO) Another race season has come and gone at Warrensburg's own Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). Although promoters Earl and Susan Walls were not expected to promote the track during 2009, an overwhelming amount of phone and email messages poured in after the couple announced they would not open the track at the end of last season and the couple felt compelled to swing open the gates for another year of Saturday night racing for the fans and drivers. Drivers were prepared to complete the 2009 race season on a cool fall evening.

Promoters Earl and Susan Walls will swing open the track gates one final time in 2009, this Saturday, September 12th, to crown champions in the 'mighty' modifieds, ULMA late models, street stocks, and b-modifieds. After last weekend's special events, it is back to points-chasing time for the drivers battling it out for the titles and within upper echelon of the standings.
Marrant receives huge gift at CMS(Warrensburg, MO) A rare Sunday night race program took place at Warrensburg’s Central Missouri Speedway last night as Aaron Marrant came away with a surprise last-lap win and the big money after taking the checkered flag in the annual Labor Day weekend 40-lap modified special event in front of an enthusiastic and somewhat stunned crowd. CMS two-night special pushed back a day by rain(Warrensburg, MO) Persistent rains washed away the Friday-night race program at Warrensburg's own Central Missouri Speedway (CMS); however, the Labor Day weekend specials will still take place. The revised weekend schedule now has the $1,500-to-win ULMA late model 25-lap main event and night one qualifying for modifieds taking place on Saturday, September 5th. Boney flies Central Missouri Speedway checkers(WArrensburg, MO) On a cool early fall evening fans were treated to some special activities on Fan Appreciation Night at Warrensburg’s own Central Missouri Speedway. Fans were able to mingle with their favorite drivers and obtain autographs at intermission. Drivers had a chance to show their appreciation to the loyal fans for their support of racing at the Earl and Susan Wall’s owned facility north of Warrensburg. CMS annual rules meeting this Saturday(Warrensburg, MO) Central Missouri Speedway will conduct the annual rules meeting at 530pm on Saturday night before the weekly racing for the B-modifieds, Street Stocks and Modifieds. The ULMA drivers can meet as well, but CMS utilizes the ULMA association rules for the Late Model class.
