Dollar General named title-rights sponsor of NHRA Summernationals at Topeka(Glendora, CA) NHRA announced on Thursday that Dollar General, the nation’s largest small-box discount retailer, will become the title rights sponsor of the annual NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series event in Topeka, Kan. Capital City Clash opens Thursday at Heartland Park Topeka(Topeka, KS) The Capital City Clash is quickly approaching! This two day event promises to be one of the best on the Lucas Oil MLRA schedule this season. With open A Modifieds also on the card, it's a can't miss two day show. The Lucas Oil MLRA competitors will be running for $2,500 and $3,500 respectively, while the A Modifieds will run for $1,000 to win and $150 to start each night.

Heartland Park Topeka added to MLRA slate on K C NASCAR weekend(Buckner, MO) Flooding forced the cancellation of Lakeside Speedway's season near the end of June. The Lucas Oil MLRA has arranged a one year shift in the location of the fall Late Model and Modified shootout. This popular event has and will again take place at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City. But, for this season it will move to Heartland Park in Topeka, KS.
