Dukes outruns Fennewald at Lucas Oil Speedway(Wheatland, MO) Rusty Dukes held back Johnny Fennewald to win the A-Modified feature at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday night. Tommy Cordray outran Rex Merritt to win the ULMA Late Model main, while James Flood triumphed in Factory Stocks.
Anderson and Brown star at Missouri State Fair(Sedalia, MO) The AAA Missouri State Fair Races closed out Sunday night with John Anderson taking a hard-fought victory in the 30-lap O’Reilly Midwest Late Model Racing Association feature event, while Brian Brown topped a stellar field of 360 Sprint Cars from the O’Reilly Winged Outlaw Warriors and the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series’ Midwest Division. Moody shines at Missouri State Fair(Sedalia, MO) Jim Moody wanted very badly to repeat his 2008 AAA Insurance Missouri State Fair Modified title, and it showed Thursday night, as he led every lap en route to repeating his win. By virtue of passing points, Moody started on the pole, outran outside front row starter Jason Thompson into the first turn, pulled out to a six car length lead at the end of the first lap, and was never headed as he cruised to the victory.
