I-35 Speedway prepares for April 10 opener(Winston, MO) ther Nature continues her wicked ways as I-35 Speedways season draws near! With the first practice just under a month away hopefully mother nature will cooperate and get rid of all this snow. The first of two practice dates will be on Saturday, March 27th, gates open at 1pm and practice is from 2-6. Practice number two will be April 3rd with the same start time.
I-35 Speedway meeting draws big turnout(Smithville, MO) A great turnout for the I-35 Speedway Drivers Meeting saw drivers and crew from I-35 Speedway, Lakeside Speedway as well as other tracks, come together last Saturday morning to discuss rule additions for the upcoming season.
I-35 Speedway rules meeting this Saturday(Winston, MO) This Saturday January 23rd 2010, at 10 a.m. will be the I-35 Speedway drivers meeting. It will again be at the Smithville American Legion Hall just off 92 HWY in Smithville Mo.
Lakeside/I-35 'Border War' bounty increases(Kansas City, MO) The Border War bounty continues to grow. In 2009 the Border War was introduced in the Grand National class at Lakeside Speedway and I-35 Speedway. During the first part of the season the prize was $100 if someone could win on Friday night at Lakeside and then Saturday night at I-35 (or vice versa) in the Grand National class.
Border War expands to Stock Cars at Lakeside and I-35(Kansas City, MO) I-35 and Lakeside Speedways worked together in 2009 to create the Border War in the Grand National class with an extra incentive of winning at one track followed by a win at the other track leading to a bonus. Halikias closes SCCA Runoffs in the wet(Elkhart Lake, WI) It took him 21 starts, but Sam Halkias, of Westerville, Ohio, finally captured his elusive first SCCA National Championship, taking the win in a wet E Production race that brought the 2009 SCCA National Championship Runoffs to a close. Peeler tops I-35 Speedway finale as Baumli secures season title(Winston, MO) The final race of the 2009 season is now in the books. Shaw outruns Starmer at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) I-35 Speedway was back over 100 cars this week, 102 cars to be exact and what a show they put on in front of the best race fans in the world. Border war comes to fruition this Saturday at I-35(Winston, MO) The 2009 season at I-35 Speedway is almost over and the exciting points battles have fans on the edge of their seats. Only 2 nights remain, this Saturday and next Saturday.
Sanders tops open rules night at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) It was Buz's Mufflers night at I-35 Speedway and with some of the regulars away at the Super Nationals it was time to take a step back from the points battles and have a night of fun.
