Border War expands to Stock Cars at Lakeside and I-35(Kansas City, MO) I-35 and Lakeside Speedways worked together in 2009 to create the Border War in the Grand National class with an extra incentive of winning at one track followed by a win at the other track leading to a bonus. Halikias closes SCCA Runoffs in the wet(Elkhart Lake, WI) It took him 21 starts, but Sam Halkias, of Westerville, Ohio, finally captured his elusive first SCCA National Championship, taking the win in a wet E Production race that brought the 2009 SCCA National Championship Runoffs to a close. Peeler tops I-35 Speedway finale as Baumli secures season title(Winston, MO) The final race of the 2009 season is now in the books. Border war comes to fruition this Saturday at I-35(Winston, MO) The 2009 season at I-35 Speedway is almost over and the exciting points battles have fans on the edge of their seats. Only 2 nights remain, this Saturday and next Saturday.
Sanders tops open rules night at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) It was Buz's Mufflers night at I-35 Speedway and with some of the regulars away at the Super Nationals it was time to take a step back from the points battles and have a night of fun.
Open rules this Saturday at I-35(Winston, MO) This weekend is Buz's Mufflers night and will be open rules night at I-35 Speedway, which means that any A-Mod, B-Mod, Stocks and Grand Nationals are welcome to come and try out the track.

Asher and Shields among I-35 winners(Winston, MO) Saturday night was Trenton Coke night at I-35 Speedway and the fans were treated to a great show. 2 weeks before IMCA's biggest show of the year the drivers heading there are trying to tune their cars up and work out any bugs they have. 13 Grand Nationals were on hand. Travis Walker led early but about 4 laps in Tim Shields found the right line and made the pass. Shields checked out and never looked back as he won his first feature of 2009 at I-35 Speedway. Tight point races at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) With only 5 nights remaining on the I-35 Speedway schedule, some points battles are really tightening up. Of those 5 nights only 4 of them are points races. The September 12th event is a non points night. This weekend is Coke night at I-35 Speedway.

Rain spoils I-35 Speedway Saturday(Winston, MO) I-35 Speedway track officials hopes of getting the racing program in were quickly washed out by heavy rains that moved in around 7pm. With 84 cars checked into the pit area the excitement was high and the racing action was bound to be outstanding.
