I-35 Speedway returns to action this Saturday(Winston, MO) -35 Speedway had every intention, as of early afternoon, to still race Saturday night. But as race time got closer it became obvious that wasn’t going to happen.
Glenn and Baumli share IMCA Mod victories at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) Over 95 cars signed for week two of the races at I-35 Speedway. After the rains caused the postponement of the modified A feature last week, the night started off with high flying excitement as the makeup feature was ran first.

The crowd packed in to see the newly resurfaced track. The heat races proved that door to door and bumper to bumper racing was back. I-35 Speedway opener drawing near(Winston, MO) The season is almost here for I-35 Speedway, formerly known as Winston Speedway. New owner Mike Johnson has spent most of his time at the racing facility in the past three months. The concession stand, suite at the south end of the grand stands and the officials booth have all been renovated to better serve the fans.
New look for I-35 Speedway (Winston, MO) I-35 Speedway has undergone and huge face lift in just the last couple months. It almost looks like a completely different track than it did January 1st of this year. The Hornet and IMCA Modified classes will return for racing action again in 2008. The IMCA Street Stock and IMCA SportMod classes also return for what will be their second year at the facility.

I-35 track changes ready for April 5 practice(Winston, MO) Many have wondered if there would be good enough weather to change the racing surface by the scheduled practice on April 5th. It was planned originally to add more banking to the corners. Last week, the weather gave owners and track workers enough of a window that the plan became reality.
Full speed on track upgrades at I-35 Speedway(Winston, MO) With the return of warm weather to I-35 Speedway, our crew has been able to make some great progress on getting ready for the season. We have been working the racing surface in preparation for the practice race on Saturday, April 5. Fences are being repaired and a fresh coat of paint is being applied to the grandstand bleachers.
