L A Raceway owner sees USRA as great fit
(LaMonte, MO) USRA-sanctioned Modifieds will be a part of the weekly Friday night program at the LA Raceway in La Monte, Mo., during the 2012 racing season. “LA Raceway is entering its tenth year of racing and we are very excited to announce that our A Modifieds will be sanctioned with USRA in 2012,” said the track’s co-owner, Mike White.

L A Raceway swap meet reset for Dec. 3
(LaMonte, MO) The L A Raceway has rescheduled its swap meet from this Saturday to NEXT Saturday, December 3 because of the forecast for rain most of the morning. The Swap Meet will be Saturday, December 3 from 8am to noon. Free to buy, sell or trade.


Racer's swap meet set for November 26 at L A Raceway
(LaMonte, MO) L A Raceway track promoter, Mike White, has scheduled a racer’s swap meet for Saturday, November 26 at the LaMonte track from 8am to noon. It will be free to buy, sell or trade.


Moore and Thompson among season finale winners at L A Raceway
(LaMonte, MO) L A Raceway closed out the 2011 racing season on Tuesday night and Mitchell Moore finished off a spectacular 305 Sprint Car campaign with yet another win, his 13th in 14 tries, while Jason Thompson outran newly crowned points champion Terry Schultz in A-Mods. Other winners were Chad Staus in B-Mods, Sundance Keeper in Street Stocks, and Micheal Tyler in Hobby Stocks.


L A Raceway season finale this Tuesday
(LaMonte, MO) L A Raceway will host a special Tuesday Night show on August 9. This is a reschedule of the season finale originally on the schedule for last Friday that was postponed because of wet grounds.

(LaMonte, MO) Friday night's races have been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 9--regular times (gates open at 5:00, hot laps 7:00, races 7:30. Track officials will present all awards following the races on August 9. This will include trophies to the top five in points and a hard charger award in each of the five classes.


Russell breaks through at L A Raceway
Jason Russell beat Joe Walker and Terry Schultz to the checkered flag for his first A-Modified win Friday night at L A Raceway. Mitchell Moore continued his domination of the 305 Sprint Car division as Allen Perryman, Tyler Lewis, and Ronnie Livengood were also victorious.


Broken water pump foils Friday night program at L A Raceway
(LaMonte, MO) Races have been canceled for Friday, July 22 at L A Raceway due to a broken pump so there is no way to put water on the track and finish prep.


Walker triumphs at L A Raceway
(La Monte, MO) Joe Walker held back points leader Terry Schultz in A-Modified action Friday night at L A Raceway. Mitchell Moore continued his winning ways in 305 Sprints as John Brooks in Street Stocks, Ben Kates in B-Modifieds, and Chuck Coffey in Hobby Stocks were also victorious.


Heat forces later start time this Friday at L A Raceway
(La Monte, MO) The race program scheduled for this Friday, July 15 at L A Raceway at LaMonte will be moved back 30 minutes due to the forecast for excessive heat. The KMMO night at the races will now have gates opening at 5:30, drivers meeting at 7:15, hot laps at 7:30 and racing at 8:00.


Schultz conquers L A Raceway
(La Monte, MO) Terry Schultz captured the A-Modified main event Friday night at L A Raceway. Nic Bidinger finished second and Rusty Weir was third. Mitchell Moore continues to shine in 305 Sprints, while Brian Eckhoff in Street Stock, Tyler Lewis in B-Mods, and Ronnie Livengood in Hobby Stock were also victorious.
