Knoxville Masters Classic paired with World of Outlaws(Knoxville, IA) On Friday, June 4, a new era will begin for the eighteenth annual Knoxville Masters Classic winged 360-cubic-inch sprint car race at the famed Knoxville Raceway in south central Iowa. 2010 will mark the first time that the one-of-a-kind race, open only to drivers age fifty and older, will be partnered with a World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series event on the same card.
A-Mods return full time to L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) L A Raceway has announced that the A Modifieds will be back on their weekly program in 2010. “Two years ago we were hit hard financially with over half of our season getting rained out,” said Mike White, L A Raceway Promoter.
L A Raceway sets 2010 opening weekend(LaMonte, MO) The 2010 season at L A Raceway will begin on Friday, April 9, with the USMTS Modifieds thundering into Central Missouri and then on Saturday, April 10, the Winged Outlaw Warrior 360 Sprints will throw the dirt off the 3/8 mile clay oval just south of LaMonte.
Schlender triumphs at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) In the Pitts Homes of Warsaw B Modifieds feature event, Chad Hickam started on the pole with Jeremy Lile to his right. With the drop of the green, Lile headed for the lead bringing Gary Lewis with him. Lewis gained the lead going down the backstretch and remained in the lead until two laps left in the feature event.
Junghans gets L A Raceway USMTS top prize after Payne DQ(LaMonte, MO) Jeremy Payne walked away with what appeared to be an easy USMTS win Tuesday night at L A Raceway, but post-race inspection of his tires resulted in disqualification. The win was handed to Grant Junghans. Payne checked out from the start and held more than a half-lap lead at the finish in a race that went caution-fee over the 40-lap distance. Thompson posts A-Mod win at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) A-Modifieds made a return to L A Raceway on Friday night, and Jason Thompson emerged victorious over Terry Schultz and Luke Feeback. Dean Wille topped the B-Mod class, while Mitchell Moore scored a big win in 305 Sprints. Other winners were Kevin Perkins in Street Stocks, and Michael Tyler in Hobby Stocks.

McGarry scores at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) Tom McGarry won the 305 Sprint Car feature Friday night at L A Raceway. Jake Jacobi topped the Street Stock main, while Danny Everts triumphed in Hobby Stocks.
Sanders socks USMTS field at L A Raceway(LaMonte, MO) Rodney Sanders captured the top prize as the United States Modified Touring Series finally received cooperation from Mother Nature on the fourth attempt Friday night at L A Raceway.
