MSRA/MARS weekend in SW Missouri spoiled by rain(Beebe, AR) The O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Model tour was scheduled to conclude their biggest season to date with a double header over the weekend in the state of Missouri, but Mother Nature had other ideas as she claimed the win in both events.
MARS closes 2009 at Springfield and Monett(Paducah, KY) The O'Reilly MARS hits Springfield, MO for their second and final visit of the 2009 season on Saturday September 19th for the Larry Phillips Memorial race paying $3,000 to win and $400 to start. Wells wins 4-State Championship at Monett (Monett, MO) Justin Wells won the 38th 4-State Dirt Track Championship for MARS Late Models Sunday night at Monett Speedway. Wells outdistanced Terry Phillips after passing him for the lead on lap 22 of the 35-lap race. PHOTO CREDIT: Ron Mitchell
Gustin tops USMTS at Monett(Monett, MO) Ryan Gustin outran Terry Phillips to win Wednesday night's United States Modified Touring Series feature at Monett Speedway. Essary and Bone headline at Monett Speedway(Monett, MO) Ken Essary captured the Late Model main event at Monett Speedway on Sunday night. Justin Wells and Gary Christian finished second and third respectively. Johnny Bone Jr. topped the Modified class.

Wells soars at Monett Speedway(Monett, MO) The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin’ Series was back in action close to home at the Grand Ole Lady of the Dirt Tracks, Monett Speedway. The night was filled full of great racing action. Twenty-six late models were in the pits all geared up to race for the top spot when the checkered flag flew at the end of the night. MARS reschedules Monett date to June 7(Monett, MO) The O'Reilly MARS DIRTcar Series Tony Roper Memorial race at Monett has been rescheduled for Sunday June 7, 2009. Gates open at 5:00pm and racing at 7:30pm. Support classes will be Modified, B-mod, Bombers and Pro-4.
