Wilson conquers 24 Raceway A-Mods(Moberly, MO) Vance Wilson got win #4 for the season at 24 Raceway this past Saturday and two straight, after returning for the 2nd half of the 2009 season races. For the second week in a row, Wilson led all laps in the feature after also winning the 2nd of the three heat races.

Woodrow tops 24 Raceway B-Mod Shootout(Moberly, MO) The 2009 B-modified Championship Shootout at 24 Raceway Saturday night saw Bobby Woodrow get his 2nd win for the season at the track, this time over 26 other B-mod entries in the MHC Kenworth sponsored 30 lap feature. Gary Wilson, Tom Elsen and Brian Robinson had the fast cars in their respective heat wins, with the first two getting the front row starting positions.
SpeedBowl 2009 this Saturday at 24 Raceway(Moberly, MO) The annual SpeedBowl 2009 is coming this Saturday, September 5 to the high banks of 24 Raceway. The event is now a one-day show with the A-Modifieds running in a 35-lap feature paying $2009 to win! All four of the other regular classes of B-modifieds, Sportsman, Hobby Stocks and 4 cylinder Hornets will race for the regular purse on this night.
Mather secures 24 Raceway A-Mod prize(Moberly, MO) A-modified driver, Colt Mather, made the trek south from Iowa for just his 3rd race of 2009 at 24 Raceway, and got a 2nd win out of it that entry over 22 other A-mods. For the first three laps, both front row starters, Mather and Mark VanWinkle moved out from the pack and Mather took the lead on the 4th lap.
24 Raceway All Star Race includes Back to School theme(Moberly, MO) Along with the ssautosport.com All-Star Race following the features next Saturday August 29th, there are a few more items to promote at the Moberly dirt track. This night will have a Back-to-School theme for the Jr. Race Fan Club, with winning names drawn from the entry box for an assortment of school supplies.
All Star race and final points races at 24 Raceway(Moberly, MO) This week, Saturday August 29th, the points racing season will have winners determined in all five of the classes competing at Moberly's 24 Raceway for the season championships. Currently, the close races are in the B-Modifieds and Hobby Stock classes with the leaders only up by 8 points in each of those two classes.

We will be back in action next weekend as the series makes it's final visit of the season to the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Saturday, August 22nd. Shelton, Dawson, Agee take support class wins on USMTS night(Moberly, MO) It took three heats this weekend to set the starting grid for the 21 B-modifieds to race in their feature at 24 Raceway. Gary Lewis and Mike Shelten got the front row positions from their efforts in the first two heats, while 13-year old Cayden Carter came from Oskaloosa, IA to try his skills here in Moberly, starting in row 2 alongside Jacob Grotewiel in his best starting position yet. Racing at Moberly takes a bit of getting used to that outside concrete wall and on lap 2, Carter got familiar with it in turns 1 & 2.
