24 Raceway Sportsman Special reset for this Saturday(Moberly, MO) Saturday, May 17th, is the new date for the MFA / Break Time Sportsman Special, rescheduled from last weekend's rain-out at 24 Raceway. And at this week's 25-lap event in Moberly, the Sportsman class has a revised purse with a bit bigger prize money. First place will be paying $400 with 2nd getting $300, and 3rd taking home $250. Although the Sportsman Special will be the featured event, the rest of the regular classes of A-modifieds, the Moberly Motors B-modifieds, Hobby Stocks and the 4 cylinder Hornets classes will also be in competition.

Third try for 24 Raceway opening this Saturday(Moberly, MO) A third try for racing this Saturday the 26th of April, and the Hornet Special is the event kickin' off the 2008 racing season at 24 Raceway. An A-Main feature consisting of 20 laps for the qualifiers in the 4 cylinder Hornet class was set to pay out $250 for first place, $150 for second and $125 for third. But now, that pot has been sweetened a bit more.

Over 100 folks attended the Moberly track pit area on Saturday with quite a selection of cars to watch, trying to get more speed and handling out of their cars at the high-banked track.
