The slate is highlighted by the 52nd Annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals August 8-11 and 9th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals September 27-29. One big change occurs in the days leading up to the Nationals with non-wing sprints as part Saturday night of Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals with 410 cars on Sunday, August 5. World of Outlaws will be in action on single dates of April 28 and June 9,.
O'Neal rules Knoxville(Knoxville, IA) Martinsville, Indiana’s Don O’Neal had not been to Knoxville Raceway since 2004 when he was injured here, but the wait was worth it. Birkhofer on pole at Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals(Knoxville, IA) Brian Birkhofer, the 2007 over-all winner of this event, captured the Friday night Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals feature event and in so doing accrued the top points for preliminary racing action. The win in the 25-lap event placed Birkhofer on the pole for Saturday’s 100 lap Lucas Oil $40,000-to-win finale. Young Austin Hubbard will share that front row.
Owens takes Night 1 at Knoxville(Knoxville, IA) Jimmy Owens of Newport, Indiana snatched the win in the opening night of the 8th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals Thursday night at the Knoxville Raceway. Kruse names new Knoxville Raceway GM(Knoxville, IA) The Marion County Fair Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Toby Kruse has been hired as General Manager and Promoter of the Knoxville Raceway and Marion County Fair. Kruse’s selection to replace current Promoter Ralph Capitani was unanimously approved by the Marion County Fair Board.

Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals Charity Golf Tournament Sept. 30(Waycross, GA) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has partnered with the Pine Knolls Golf and Country Club in Knoxville, IA for a Charity golf tournament to benefit the Marion County Humane Society. The golf tournament will take place on Friday September 30th in conjunction with the 8th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals that weekend at the famous Knoxville Raceway.
Knoxville Nationals to air this Sunday on SPEED TV(Concord, NC) The 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals was full of drama from the first night of qualifying to the checkered flag, and through it all SPEED captured the emotion of the event and what Knoxville means to every competitor.
