Austin McCarl begins Sprint Car career at Eagle(Altoona, IA)
A new sprint car career begins this month. Fifteen year old Austin McCarl will be hitting a dirt oval near you soon! Austin is the son of World of Outlaws driver, Terry McCarl, and he’s armed and ready for the Ice Breaker Challenge at Eagle Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30. He will be piloting the Janet Holbrook #17 360 machine in Midwest competition.

An unseasonably mild August afternoon gave way to a cool August night as the seasons points championships were decided at Americas Home Track.
Boston and Dover share Sprint Car stage at Eagle(Eagle, NE) Fan Appreciation Night and Kids Night, sponsored by McDonalds saw the largest crowd ever at Eagle Raceway. The stands were near capacity, with 2-mile long lines of cars waiting just to get into the facility. The warm temperatures were made a little less oppressive by a strong southerly breeze. And the huge crowd saw what was, bar none, some of the very best racing of the year. There was passing, 3-wide action and thrills throughout the evening.
