Mother's Day races at Butler postponed due to wet grounds(Butler, MO) With almost 4 inches of rain this week and low tempatures the races at Butler Motor speedway in Butler missouri have been cancelled. Mother nature is showing she does not like the thunder of racecars she only wants to here the thunder of the storms. I hope to see every one back next Sunday night May 18th.

Simmons and Fennewald among Butler winners(Butler, MO) Jack Smimmons beat Alan Vaughn and David Turner to the line to win the Late Model feature Sunday night at Butler Motor Speedway. Johnny Fennewald outran Kevin Morrow and Matt Johnson to win the Modified class, while Shawn Hendren in Factory Stocks and Eddie Fox in Street Stocks were also victorious.
Vaughn and Johnson among Butler winners(Butler, MO) The temperature was hot hot hot so was the racing excitement at BMS. The night started off with heavy hearts thinking of two friends of the racing community. A moment of silence was held in memory of "Vinny" Vince Barker and Tom McManis Sr who both passed on this week end. Our thoughts and prayers go out to there familys.
Seabaugh and Morrow headline at Butler(Butler, MO) Racing was fast and wild at Butler Motor Speedway Sunday night. The first feature out was the Street Stocks. Dustin Wyland would lead past the half way point as Robert Brown Olin Wyland Devin Irvin and John Sheets would pressure Brown for the lead. Caution flew as Olin Wyland collected Devin Irvin coming out of turn four. When the track was cleared Dustin Wyland brought the field back to green Brown was glued to his rear bumper. Brown took the lead with a pass on the high side going into turns 3 & 4. Brown would hold the lead taking the checkered flag followed by Wyland and Sheets.
Factory Stock Special at Butler this Sunday(Butler, MO) Bring the kids and join us on the 5th of August for the Factory Stock Special and a chance for the kids to meet the drivers as well as the kids activities during intermission!
Gotschall beats Turner in photo finish at Butler(Butler, MO) Mother Nature was threatining the races with rain but the skies dried up just intime for the hot lap sessions. She did spit a few sprinkles threw out the night but all races were completed.
Butler Motor Speedway drops 305 Sprints(Butler, MO) For the remainder of the 2007 season, Butler Motor Speedway will not be running the 305 Sprint car class. This is primarily due to the inconsistent car count on a weekly basis. Vaughn's Sunday cruise at Butler(Butler, MO) Belton, Missouri veteran Alan Vaughn led wire-to-wire to win the Late Model feature Sunday night at Butler Motor Speedway. It's the third week of weekly late model competition on the 3/8th mile dirt with Modifieds, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and 305 Sprints also on the card. Johnny Fennewald dominated the Modified class.
Fennewald triumphs at Butler(Butler, MO) Weekly racing continued at Butler Motor Speedway on Sunday night, and when the evening was over Johnny Fennewald was standing in winner's circle holding the Modified trophy. Michael Brown topped the 305 Sprint Car class, while Zach Marsh, Dan Watters Jr, Tony Palmer, and Brian Pipes also celebrated.
Morrow scores at Butler Motor Speedway(Butler, MO) Kevin Morrow of Nevada won the Modified main event Sunday night at Butler Motor Speedway, Johnny Fennewald and Dan Nasalroad were second and third respectively. Cody Baker topped the 305 Sprint Car class as Dustin Biesley triumphed in Street Stocks. Also victorious were Scotty Bough in Factory Stock and Mickey Fleehart in Show-Me Vintage cars.
Morrow tames Butler Motor Speedway(Butler, MO) Butler Motor Speedway was able to dodge the rain drops once again Sunday night. The fans saw some of the best racing so far this year. Factory stocks was the first feature event of the evening.
