Valley Speedway racers honored at Annual Awards Banquet

Valley Speedway Awards Banquet Saturday night
(Blue Springs, MO) The annual Valley Speedway Awards Banquet is set for tonight (Sat. January 21) at the American Legion Hall in Blue Springs. Drivers who participated in both Friday night and Saturday night weekly programs will be honored. Social hour is at 6:00 with dinner at 7:00 and awards presentation at 8:00 p.m.


Valley Speedway Mods join the ranks of USRA
(Grain Valley, MO) Officials at the Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo., have announced that their Modified division will be sanctioned by the United States Racing Association beginning with the 2012 racing season as part of the track’s weekly Saturday night racing program.


Year 6 on the horizon for ULMA
(Warrensburg, MO) Three months after the final laps of the season were turned, ULMA is preparing for its sixth-consecutive year of sanctioning weekly and special-event late model racing. The association is anxious for the 2012 season to arrive and continues to make arrangements for what is sure to be another close battle for the championship.


Valley Speedway reveals tentative 2012 schedule
(Grain Valley, MO) Valley Speedway has released a tentative 2012 schedule. The first Test & Tune takes place March 10 with the first racing event scheduled for April 7. Early season specials include ASCS Warrior Region on April 13, USMTS on April 20, and POWRi Midgets on May 4.


Valley Speedway sets meeting for Sunday, November 20
(Grain Valley, MO) Valley Speedway will have a wrap up meeting for 2011 and talk about ground work for the upcoming season. Everyone is welcome to come and hear what we have in mind for 2012. There will be a tentative schedule for 2012 season to hand out.


ULMA returns to Valley Speedway
(Grain Valley, MO) ULMA is pleased to announce that Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri will return as an affiliated track for the 2012 race season. ULMA will sanction ten Friday night events next year at the speedway with the possibility of additional Saturday night racing, which we will know more about once both parties start finalizing their respective schedules.


Weyant and Marrant triumph at Valley Speedway
(Grain Valley, MO) Korey Weyant of Springfield, IL captured his first non-wing Sprint Car feature as the 2011 wound to a close Saturday night at Valley Speedway. Chad Tye was second as winner the previous two weeks Mitchell Moore came in third. Aaron Marrant kept his winning ways going in A-Mods, while Jacob Ebert in B-Mods, Brian Ziegler in Street Stocks, and Alex Owen in 600cc Micro Sprints were also victorious. Marrant doubles up at Valley Speedway
(Grain Valley, MO) Aaron Marrant scored wins in both A-Mods and B-Mods as the Fast Fall Series continued Saturday night at Valley Speedway. Mitchell Moore captured his second straight Valley Sprint Car main while David Hartman in 600cc Micros Sprints and Brian Ziegler in Street Stocks were also victorious. Fast Fall Series resumes this Saturday at Valley
(Grain Valley, MO) The Fast Fall Series continues at Valley Speedway this Saturday night, October 15. Non-Wing Sprint Cars and A-Mods headline the competition with B-Mods, Street Stocks, and 600cc Micro Sprints also on the card. Hot laps get underway at 5:30 with racing to follow.


Baker and Feeback among Valley Speedway winners
(Grain Valley, MO) Cody Baker captured his first-ever non-wing sprint car win Saturday night at Valley Speedway. Baker held back JD Black as Chris Morgan, Mitchell Moore, and Chad Tye rounded out the top-five. Luke Feeback outran Terry Schultz and Aaron Marrant in A-Mods, while Nick Newton in B-Mods, Donnie Dannar in Street Stocks, and Steve Clancy in 600cc Micro Sprints were also victorious.
