Berlin Raceway pavement to be covered with dirt for September WOO Late Model weekend
(Concord, NC) Berlin Raceway is going to get down and dirty in 2012. Harkening back to the famed facility’s beginnings as a dirt track six decades ago, the new management team of the Michigan speedway has announced plans to cover the 7/16th-mile oval’s asphalt surface with a layer of clay for a spectacular season-ending program featuring the renowned World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Kent Robinson to make run at WOO Late Model Rookie title
(Bloomington, IN) With the 2012 season soon to be a reality Kent Robinson has announced that he tentatively plans to pilot his #7r JB's Salvage/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Super Late Model on the full World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour as he pursues the Rookie of the Year title. After several successful seasons in an Open Wheel Modified, the 21-year-old Robinson recently concluded his first full season in a Dirt Super Late Model in 2011, and it was a strong debut for the Bloomington, Indiana driver.
