Wilson emerges as new ULMA points leader(Warrensburg, MO) Only five possible points-earning nights remain during the quest for the 2010 ULMA Championship and heading into this weekend, the association has a new leader as Vance Wilson takes over the top position from Jason Bodenhamer, who had held the lead for the past month.

Bodenhamer on top of ULMA standings after sixth feature win(Warrensburg, MO) Once the drivers hit the tracks again this weekend a new driver will begin the weekend as the overall association point leader for the first time since mid April. Jason Bodenhamer, who was the 2008 ULMA champion, now has a slim lead in the standings after capturing his sixth feature-race win of the year last weekend at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS).
Bodenhamer climbs ULMA points ladder with fifth victory(Warrensburg, MO) In the heat of summer the ULMA point standings are starting to reveal the title hopes of at least two drivers set to battle to the finish for this year’s years championship. The 2008 champion, Jason Bodenhamer, of Centerview, MO rolled to his fifth overall victory of the year last weekend with a win at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) and vaulted into second position in the standings as a result of his win.
Wilson four for four in ULMA(Warrensburg, MO) Since joining the association as a member driver a few weeks back, Vance Wilson has racked up four feature wins in the four ULMA-sanctioned events he has entered. The driver, known as the “Frankfurt Flash,” has claimed the four victories at Lucas Oil Speedway (2) and Callaway Raceway (2) in his Rocket chassis #B1 sponsored by Glawson Concrete GVT Motorsports, Riverport Signs, Crystal Ambrose, Finish Line Auto Sales, Heartland Auto Body, and Harness Farms.
Stovall returns to Lucas Oil Speedway victory circle(Wheatland, MO) With the General Lee in the House and 93.5 FM Rockin' Lucas Oil Speedway, it was Vance Wilson, Jesse Stovall, and Ben Solberg making visits to the Lucas Oil Speedway Victory Lane this past Saturday, July 10th. Wilson scored his third TNT Quick Shop Late Model win in a row while Jesse Stovall returned to his winning ways by capturing his 8th Pitt's Homes A-Modified win of the season.
Bodenhamer claims ULMA Triple Crown Shootout title(Warrensburg, MO) Coming off one of its biggest weekends of racing since forming, ULMA’s competitors took to the association’s affiliated tracks last weekend for the three-night, four-race sweep that was the Triple Crown Shootout.
Triple Crown Shootout and double-points week for ULMA(Warrensburg, MO) The ULMA “Triple Crown Shootout” presented by Mr. G’s Liquor, West Highway 50 in California, Missouri, will officially begin on Thursday, July 1 at Lucas Oil Speedway. The huge weekend of racing continues on Friday, July 2 Central Missouri Speedway and Callaway Raceway, and then concludes on Saturday, July 3 at Central Missouri Speedway at the track’s annual late model special event. Cordray flexes ULMA muscle at Lucas Oil Speedway(Warrensburg, MO) The largest car count so far this season at any of the ULMA-affiliated tracks was on hand at Wheatland, Missouri last Saturday night. Tommy Cordray of Browning, Missouri handed the rest of the drivers their backsides with a convincing win after starting eighth on the grid. There were 22 member drivers present among the 27 drivers on hand. It took three heat races to sort out the night’s feature event starting grid.
Schlup savors first ULMA victory of 2010(Warrensburg, MO) California, Missouri’s Jeff Schlup picked up his first ULMA-sanctioned win of the season last week at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, Missouri. It was Schlup’s first win of the year at Callaway Raceway, where he won six races last season and the track championship.
