Countdown begins for March 10 Turkey Classic
(Springfield, MO) The countdown for the running of the 5th annual O'Reilly Turkey Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers has begun as this stellar event will kick-off the Racing season in Southwest Missouri on Saturday March 10th at the Springfield Raceway in Springfield,Mo.

(Springfield, MO) Springfield Raceway owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland are proud to announce the GM Performance and Springfield's Reliable Chevrolet have joined forces to be the title sponsor for the B-Modifieds and offer an even greater incentive in 2012 for drivers using a GM 602 Crate motor in the B-Mods or a GM CT525 Crate motor in the ultra-fast USRA A-Modifieds this season.

Bad weather forces Turkey Classic cancellation
(Springfield, MO) Due to the storm front stalling out and not getting to the Springfield area until Saturday morning the forecast is calling for rain all day we are forced to cancel the Turkey Classic. It's always hard for the Raceway Mgt to make a call like this as last years event had teams from 11 different states, so we have to try and keep this im mind when deciding what to do with the events.
