POWRi reveals 2010 schedule(Milstadt, IL) the 2010 O’Reilly POWRi presented by Lucas Oil National Midget calendar has 31 events on its schedule with more dates to be announced. There are 12 tracks in 5 different states slated with 2 new venues which include Shepp’s Speedway in Alexander, IL and Solomon Valley Raceway in Beloit, KS.
Loyet tops Charlene Meents Memorial at Belle-Clair(Belleville, IL) Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO wins the Charlene Meents 30 lap O’Reilly POWRi National Midget event at Belle–Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL. POWRi at Macon Speedway rained out(Macon, IL) The scheduled POWRi Midget Series event scheduled for Saturday night at Macon Speedway was rained out. Next up is the Meents Memorial on Saturday, October 3 at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois.
Clauson and Moughan win Tom Knowles Memorial at Spoon River(Canton, IL) Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, IN won the annual Tom Knowles Memorial O’Reilly POWRi National Midget event at Spoon River Speedway Saturday night. This was Clauson’s second POWRi victory in a row after winning the previous night at the Morgan County Speedway.
Anderson triumphs at Macon Speedway(Macon, GA) 2008 POWRi National Midget Champion Brett Anderson from Belleville, IL driving his own DRC Fontana WINS the 30 lap NASCAR Night main event at Macon Speedway. Rounding out the top three was Dave Darland and Tim Siner.
Loyet triumphs at Arnie Knepper Memorial(Belleville, IL) The O'Reilly POWRi Midget Series paid a visit to Belle-Clair Speedway for the annual Arnie Knepper Memorial on Wednesday night. Brad Loyet emerged victorious over Brad Kuhn and Derrick Myers. Brett Anderson and Steve Knepper rounded out the top-five.
Kuhn flies JMS checkers(McCool Junction, NE) USAC National Midget point leader Brad Kuhn of Avon, Ind. captured Wednesday night’s 40-lap USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget race at Junction Motor Speedway, leading the final 23 laps in his Rotondo Weirich Beast/Fontana.
Bacon outruns Loyet at Junction(McCool Junction, NE) Brady Bacon of Broken Arrow, Okla. caught Brad Loyet near the finish of Tuesday night’s “Cornhusker Midget Challenge” 25-lap feature and won the USAC/SMRS Great Plains race at Junction Motor Speedway. PHOTO CREDIT: B A Photos (file)
Coons conquers Butler County(Rising City, NE) Jerry Coons Jr. captured first night honors as the Cornhusker Midget Challenge got underway on Monday at Butler County Motorplex. Bryan Clauson finished second as Brad Kuhn, Brady Bacon, and Dave Darland rounded out the top-five.
Yeley wins Midget thriller at U.S. 36(Osborn, MO) J J Yeley took advantage of a late restart to beat Brad Kuhn to the checkered flag and the $5000 top prize for winning the O'Reilly POWRi and USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget Series event Sunday night at U.S. 36 Raceway. Midgets hit U.S. 36 high banks(Osborn, MO) U.S. 36 Raceway will be the site of a huge midget car event this Sunday evening, July 26. It's "Hotter than Hell," featuring the O'Reilly POWRi Midget Series and USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget Series. A star-studded field of drivers is set to tackle the on-high-banked one-third mile oval. Loyet triumphs at Macon Speedway(Macon, IL) Brad Loyet won the Dana Godfrey Memorial for the O'Reilly POWRi Midget Series Wednesday night at Macon Speedway.
