Rain interrupts Junction Midget opener(McCool Junction, MO) Rain forced a halt in Tuesday night's USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget competition at Junction Motor Speedway. The rain fell as the feature event was lining up on the racetrack. The USAC/SMRS Midget series continues Wednesday night at McCool Junction.

Clauson soars at U.S. 36 Raceway(Osborn, MO) Bryan Clauson ran away with Sunday night's Midget special at U.S. 36 Raceway. The Noblesville, Indiana driver, who led all 30 laps, finished solidly in front of second place Brad Loyet and third place Matt Sherrell. Zach Daum and Andrew Felker rounded out the top-five. Kuhn sweeps Chad McDaniel Memorial(Beloit, KS) Brad Kuhn completed the weekend sweep of the Chad McDaniel Memorial Saturday night at Soloman Valley Raceway. The two-night POWRi National Midget Series event was in tribute of Chad McDaniel, from nearby Concordia, Kansas, who lost his life exactly one year ago in an accident at Knocville, Iowa.
