Tri-City Speedway accepting entries for Gold Crown Midget Nationals(Pontoon Beach, IL) Entry blanks have been mailed for the upcoming 2nd Annual “Gold Crown Midget Nationals” USAC Mopar National Midget race at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill., scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 29 through Saturday, October 2. The event falls on the same weekend as the 18th Annual DART Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. The event is slated to take place on the Sunday after DART Show-Me 100, which has been designated as the rain date for the famous event now held at Lucas Oil Speedway.
