Carlson and Reffner headline opening night at Oktoberfest(LaCrosse, WI) The racing gods blessed the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Thursday with great weather and exciting racing for the Livewire Energy and CC106.3 night at the races. Three different drivers were able to race their cars to track championships, while others dragged their cars home in pieces.

46th Annual National Short Track Championship this weekend(Loves Park, IL) It has become a fall tradition with the gathering of some of the best Midwest race drivers competing on the tough quarter-mile oval. The National Short Track Championships dates back to 1966 with Dick Trickle taking the first win.

Mackesy wins Flip Merwin Memorial 150(Wausau, WI) The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and GrandStay Hospitality made its debut at State Park Speedway in Wausau, WI tonight for the “River Valley Bank Flip Merwin Memorial 150.” Mark Mackesy won the nose-to-tail battle to the finish.
