1st Annual Military Honor 25 coming to Springfield May 26(Springfield, MO) Owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland have announced that the "Quick-Quarter" will be hosting the 1st annual Military Honor 25 for the USRA Modifieds on Saturday May 26th with the winner taking home $800 to win the feature and $100 to start the Main Event. This event will feature a full night of Transport Graphics Championship Chase events with all classes scheduled to compete for track and National Points.
Springfield Raceway prepares for Month of Money Specials(Springfield, MO) Springfield Raceway owners Doug Bland and Jerry Hoffman have announced that the "Quick-Quarter" of the Springfield Raceway is preparing for a stretch of events that will be paying extra money along with valuable USRA and Transport Graphics Championship points for several classes.
Memorial weekend NCRA Mods move to 81 Speedway(Park City, KS) Due to circumstances beyond their control, officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products have been forced to cancel the Saturday night, May 26 appearance at Mid-America Speedway in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma for the series modified division.
ASCS Lone Star vs. Sooner battle this Saturday(Tulsa, OK) This coming Saturday night will mark the first regional ASCS showdown of the season at the high banked half mile clay of Devil’s Bowl Speedway. Arrangements set for Jeff Osborn(Savannah, MO) Arrangements have been set for Jeff Osborn, 38, who died Friday night as a result of a crash during the non-wing sprint car feature at Valley Speedway. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Breit-Hawkins & Gladen Funeral Home in Savannah with services Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home at 1010 S. U.S. 71 Highway.
Collins earns third career SLMR win at Junction(McCool Junction, NE) A couple of weeks ago Mike Collins of Council Bluffs, Iowa predicted he would win the opening night feature race at I-80 Speedway. He had to wait awhile and it wasn’t at I-80 but Saturday night in the SLMR race at the Junction Motor Speedway Collins started on the outside front row took the lead midway through the race and won the Malvernbank.com “Race for the Safe” SLMR feature and with the win he became the SLMR point leader.
Slone bests I-44 Late Model field(Lebanon, MO) Mike Slone, Jr. of Rolla bested a stellar field of O’Reilly Auto Parts Late Models Saturday night, driving his #77 Chevrolet Impala to a convincing back-to-front win on Lebanon I-44 Speedway’s 3/8-mile high-banked asphalt oval during ‘CaddyShack Golf Cars Night at the Races”.
Ragland, Russell, Strong, Woods shine at Lucas Oil Speedway(Wheatland, MO) Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway the 3rd Annual Business Expo and Coyote 107.9 Night at the Races, was filled with family fun and great racing action. Fans enjoyed browsing displays and purchasing items from local businesses, while the Coyote 107.9 broadcast live from the Midway. Racing rolled out on the track with a strong field of regular weekly drivers and several newcomers.

Badder rim rides to A-Mod prize at Valley Speedway(Grain Valley, MO) Shad Badder made the high groove work to his liking as the Oak Grove, Missouri driver shot from his 6th starting position and an early lead he would not give up in A-Modified action Saturday night at Valley Speedway. Jason Bodenhamer won a late battle with Dennis Elliott for third as Aaron Marrant and Dean Willie completed the top-five. Brad Smith wired the B-Mod main, while Brian Ziegler in Street Stocks and Skyler Nolker were also victorious.
