O'Reilly MLRA PR

The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil is set to tackle Glenn and Colleen Portzen's tricky Adrian Speedway this Saturday night, May 17th for the $3,000 to win Jack Vaughn Memorial race. The O'Reilly MLRA had a fantastic showing at the Diamond Nationals this past weekend and several drivers hope to carry that momentum into the high banks of the Adrian Speedway.

The gates open this Saturday night at 5:00pm with Hot Laps set to get underway at 7:00 and racing scheduled to start at 7:30. Adult admission is $15, 6-12 is $5, and race fans under 6 are admitted free to the speedway. Pit passes are $25. For detailed information and directions to the Adrian Speedway, please visit www.adrianspdwy.com.

This event will also be a Midwest Walnut Lucky Stars Award event that will award an extra $1,000 to one lucky driver in the A Feature. The award winner will be determined by a draw, prior to the feature event, with positions 11-24 being eligible. To be eligible for the award, driver's must be an O'Reilly MLRA member and display the Midwest Walnut decal on their machine.

Midwest Walnut began as a small processing plant in Council Bluffs, IA is 1931 supplying everything from logs to furniture throughout the Midwest. The continued growth of the company brought the need for a new plant which began construction in Willow Springs, MO in 1942. For over 70 years Midwest Walnut has continued to see their business grow from a small Midwest company into a global exporter of hardwoods which continues to increase annually.
