'Bring your cans' to Lucas Oil Speedway

Wheatland, MO - May 15, 2008
By: Lucas Oil Speedway PR

This Saturday May 17th is KTTS 94.7 FM Night at the Races featuring the O'Reilly POWRi Midgets. It is also a night of giving as we help KTTS fill the emergency food pantries at Crosslines.

"It's about helping others," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager. "Lucas Oil Speedway is in a unique position to offer our fans a great night of race entertainment in return for them helping a great cause."

Adults that bring 4 non-perishable food items to the track are "IN" for a great night of racing. The O'Reilly POWRi Midgets will make there first ever appearance at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks this weekend and they are going to be extremely fast.

"These guys will likely turn some of the fastest lap times this season," added Greven. "Only the 360 Sprints that ran last month and the up coming World of Outlaws 410s will be faster."

The O'Reilly POWRi Midgets this Saturday make up round two of 4 for open wheel fans with the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits on Monday August 11th and the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on Sunday September 14 still remaining.

But this weekend it's about filling the food pantries. Help us help them help others and help yourself to more of "the Best Racin' In The Nation!" Gates open at 5 p.m. Racing at 7 p.m. For more information go to LucasOIlSpeedway.com
