Revised Sportsman purse at 24 Raceway

On Saturday, May 10th, the Sportsman Special is the event for this week's racing program in Moberly. MFA / Break Time Sportsman drivers at 24 Raceway will now get a bit bigger prize money than what was originally published.

Most of the increase takes place between 7th through 19th places with the entire purse boosted some $450 The Sportsman Special will be the featured event, along with the rest of the regular classes of A-modifieds, the Moberly Motors B-modifieds, Hobby Stocks and the 4 cylinder Hornets classes. First place will be paying $400 with 2nd getting $300, and 3rd taking home $250 in the 25 lap event.

"Dirt Track Racing at its Best" begins at 7pm with a driver's meeting, followed by hot laps, starting at 6:15pm. Please see the website of www.24racewayinmoberly.com for additional info. The fast action will take place again on these high banks, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24. Adult ticket prices for the MFA / Break Time Sportsman Special are only $10, with children, ages 6 to 12, getting in for $5. Kids under 6 years old are admitted free of charge. Pit passes are $25. Come watch the fastest fendered racecars compete in "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" this Saturday, the 10th of May at the high banks of 24 Raceway, Moberly. Grandstands and pit gate open at 4pm.
