"America's Premiere Short Track Series" is Back in action this weekend! The ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Presented by GM Performance Parts family of Crews, Drivers, Fans, Officials, and Teams are on the road and heading out to Newton, Iowa!

Race number Two for the ASALMS Challenge Division is set for the immaculate 7/8s mile progressively banked paved oval of Iowa Speedway, located East of the capital city of Des Moines in Newton, Iowa for the running of the Pride of Iowa 150!

Just like last seasons unique format, the ASALMS Challenge Division competitors will once again divide the Pride of Iowa 150 into Three (3) 50-Lap segments. Competition Yellows will occur at Lap 50 and again at Lap 100.

During the Two (2) ASALMS Competition Yellows, the companion United States Super Trucks Series will run Two (2) 25-Lap Features in between each 50-Lap ASALMS Challenge Division segment.

Current ASALMS Challenge Division Points Leader, Sean Murphy has won the first two Challenge Division races including the non-points race in Lakeland, Florida back in January! Can Murphy duplicate Jimmy Lang's feat from this past weekend in ASALMS South competition and win his third Feature in a row to start the 2008 season?

If you can't make it down for the race, keep up to date all weekend long exclusively on "ASALMS Live" only on the ASALMS Challenge Division Website for extensive coverage of the Pride of Iowa 150.
